News & Information Electronically

01 August 2013

As news & information is vastly becoming more relevant and up to date via websites, blogs, tweets, etc etc etc, is this the avenue our primary industry should be travelling?

I feel it is the correct route, yes it will take some time before it becomes “the norm”

It is challenging stepping out of the comfort zone of what is deemed normal, but at times, we must feel the fear and do it anyway…

I received an email from Peter Cooper, whom was the advertising manager at the Grower magazine. Peter is now editing an on-line publication called GrowerNEWS. Yes it is directed at the horticulture industry, but well worth a look.

Check it out:  GrowerNEWS

How many of you are looking at the newspaper daily online, or visiting other blogs for news and information?

As always, am very keen to hear your thoughts, discussion on News & Information Electronically.

I believe having news and information online is definitely a positive, everything is made more accessible and easier to sort by relevance. it keeps us all connected and in the know, so I'm all for it.

Totally agree Allan. It enables us to make the decision on what information we wish to process and delve into...

Was great to catch-up at the Hort NZ Conference. Along with the great news on moving forward and putting your successful fruit n vegetable business online. Very exciting to see that it is evolving to be much more than fruit n vegetables online, but also giving the ability for the public to connect to the business.

Take a look at this site, I believe great things wil develop with this business. Allan has a very loyal following in the BOP.
