Must say, WeatherWatch Website has been absolutely on the button with the weather bomb hitting the upper North Island at present.
It has always been somewhat of a frustration the lack of accuracy that often occurs with weather forecasts, taking into account just how pertinent it is in all things Primary Production.
At home this evening in Auckland, I can hear the wind picking up and the rain is constant. It is very much real rain to ;)
Also it is worth noting how accurate the WeatherWatch forecast was for 3 in the AM on Sunday morning. Was like clock work, weathr cleared by 6 AM for a magic day...
How is this weather bomb effecting you in the North Island?
I am off to Hawkes Bay in the morning, hoping things subside, delayed or cancelled flights put a HUGE spanner in the works.
